Howdy folks! It's nice to see you all again after this long break. Despite the "action-trend" in Amiga productions nowadays I give you this opportunity to get entertained (?) by a really long and interesting (?) scrolltext. Ok I know this musicdisk contains nothing advanced but I'll still tell you some how's and why's about it: I hate all lame productions which don't work on my A500+ because they use absolute addressing etc. and I can imagine users of A3000 or any other extended/expanded/nonstandard Amigas having the same problem, so this musicdisk is designed and tested to work on most systems. Try running this musicdisk from 32-bit RAM-disk on an A3000 and watch the loading time disappear! A problem with most musicdisks is that you lose interest in the tunes very quickly because they are written by the same musician (or at least quite few musicians) and thus conforms to a certain style. I've tried to get around this problem by letting eight musicians make one and only one tune for this disk. If you have any comments to this scrolltext send them to slan@bugend.edvina.se (yes, I'm still not a real student but I have an echomail address anyway). If that doesn't work, write to the Dual Crew HQ at BOX 10056, S-630 10 Eskilstuna. Please write 'TO ZAZ' on the envelope. This scrolltext was written on the Gathering in Norway held by Crusaders and Deadline. A good party well worth visiting all 5 days except for some frustrating loudspeakers blaring out irritating music uncomfortably loudly all night. Today's quote: "Which came first, the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken then I ate his leg." Of course the legendary Beastie Boys invented this one. A piece of advice to all who live in Sweden: Never NEVER buy anything from Chara' data, you'll regret it! I still haven't got my harddisk-controller back from service (it is now 3 months since I sent it to them. When I bought it, I got no instructions and no cables. Some personal regards are long overdue: Metal Maniac of Dual Crew on the C64: Congratulations on winning the democompetition on the (lame?) TPF-party! Phearless, your board (Sedes Diaboli) is really the coolest I've ever had the pleasure to call. The Chief, thanks for recording She's On It for me and for keeping The Stash a great board. Triton of Aurora, thanks for the longword-alignment bugfix! Heatseeker of Cryptoburners, your code is very neat and tidy. Jesse James, you're one of the very few Vasteras-rulers! Magic, it's great to know I'm not the only Prolog-fan in the world! Creeper of Flash Inc: It's about time you bought an Amiga! Mike of Spreadpoint, you're right, Buddha's demo was all you said it would be and more! Nice, thanks for your support and all the nice gameplaying/programming sessions. Iridon of Shining, you're really the best graphics artist on the Amiga. Nuke (the REAL Nuke), how's life going in Oberalm? I suppose you have moved into your new house long ago. It was a bit dusty there when I last saw it! Oliver Z. Pasche, relax. You'll get your Hitch-hiker cassettes any year now. The original BBC recording of The Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy sure is cult! Lord Mindless of Offence, I hope you have a good time in your new group and good luck! Mike of Network 21, when is your vector demo going to be released? Redhead of Sync and An Cool of TCB, thanks for showing me a lot of understanding back in the bad old days when there was terrible war between the Amiga and the Atari ST. Chucky, thanks for helping out with the hardware at times. Stoffe, buy yourself a real computer! Many thanks go to Jeanna, my Russian teacher, whithout whose kind co-operation my presence at this party would have been quite impossible. Hello folks, this is Tyrell typing. As you may have noticed, I am the composer of the lame track called "Pandora's Box". I am really fed up writing songs without synths so you can hear the result. need I say I am also very disappointed with the quality of this song, if I were to decide this tune would never been released here, not to mention my other traxx. Besides it's originally two years old, remixed one year ago.. Ok, let's quit whining and get into something else. all DJ's, technofreaks/ravers should contact me at: Markus Lehto - Leveemaki 15 - 13430 HML - Finland . If you didn't get the address now, don't worry, I'll write it again later in this text.. Listening to pure techno isn't good for your health, that's why I also like garage house, raggamuffin, hardcore rap/hip hop, hypno, bleep, classical, italo, funk and soul.. If you share the same interests, contact. My favourite artists at the moment are Shamen, Altern8, Moby, Lords of Acid and the rest. Ok, time for breakdown - the greetz. They go to (in no order) first to the following members of Dual Crew: ZAZ (thanxz 4 everything) .. WDO (nice chats and sends, waiting for your demo) .. Polarbear (thanxz for all the stuff you've ever sent.. keep it up) .. Dizzy (you are the best) .. Wal (nice to have u onboard again) .. Yoghurt (thanxz for the dedication) .. Belfagor always cool tunes) .. Red Devil (you're the number one in UK) .. and of course to all other Dualers in Finland, Sweden, Norway and UK. - move on to xternal ones . They go to (in no order) The Origin/Addonic (Hi Martin..you are da coolest) .. Frap/Supplex (Hi Paul..Keep on raving) .. Shade/Offworld (Yo Aki.. Workout, techno rulez) .. .. Chaosis/Chrome (Hi Jouni.. Good luck with A2000) .. LTD./Backlash (Hi Chris.. hope u dig dis) and my specialz to the finnish dance music scene meaning the cool guyz (Hannu, Manne, Pasi + da xternals) at Soundart/Reel Art/EMI Finland) Mixmaster K. at Dancebeat Organization + da best radio deejay I know - DJ Alex of Radiomafia.. ok. That was all I wanted to write. Here comes my address one last time, get it now. - Markus Lehto - Leveemaki 15 - 13430 HML - Finland . bye. Hello world !!!!! It's Gamma time !! (he he he). The tune you are hopefully now being subjected to is called Nutritional which won the real time music comp at the anarchy conference on 4/4/92 in England. Personally I think it's a hunk of crap but the samples are nice ! Anyway enough of this mindless drivel . Where are all the *F E M A L E* musicians in the scene ?? There has got to be some somewhere !! Perhaps they just can't hack the competition !?!? (he he) Well ....... if anyone wants to contact me , send an interesting parcel with lots of beer and food to the following addy: ---- Gamma 67 Grange Court Drive Bexhill -on- sea East Sussex TN39 4AY England. And now just a few quick hellos - All Dual Crew members (especially Morph (Taggart!!) and the Shadow) , Nuke / Anarchy - Yo Martin !! Cheers for the greet in *Legalise it* , Hein Design - For a gfx artist you're a bloody good musician !!!! , Recoil / Plague Yo Martin !! How comes every other musician is called Martin ?!?! , Apex / Ghost - Your toons keep gettin' better ! , The nasty rotten git that stole all the computer equipment at the Anarchy party - if I find out who you are I will rip off your toenails one by one until you pay everyone their competition prizes that they didn't get because of your greed , then I will string you up by your balls . Okay ? . Good .. I'm glad I got that outta the way . Anyway I think it's about time someone else had their name in lights so..... See y'all in another scrolly somewhere . Have a nice day y'all !!! High! This is, definitely, DI33Y / DC speaking (or writing). As some of you perhaps have already noticed, my piece of music - Trajanus - is NOT a new tune at all, in fact it has been completed on Sep-91 or thereabouts. (Un)fortunately, I haven't had really any spare time during these couple of months, and haven't made just any SERIOUS new modules 4 a while. Time, ticking away the moments that make up a dull day (Pink Floyd). Yeps! Now I think it's finally time for a few messages, isn't it? Here we go..... Groo/BRB : Syaled 4 yrros, but... -- Rebeat/??? : Hi! How's your LP going? -- CAPT WHQ : Hyvaeae paivaeae, wherever you are... -- The Molski BBS staff : Kaikki ON helppoa. -- Meegosh/Rebels : OKOKOKOKOKOK! I REALLY forgot to send the module, sorry! And when I remembered it, it had been already released..... No hard feelings, uh? -- All DECEPT members! : How's it going? and hi Bandog! Your infra-red-led finally broke down, pleeze send morrre! -- Mark/Silents : Are U totally over the rainbow yet...? 8-) -- DJ/U96 : Hi mate! R U still DJ/U96 or are U just a DJ? If sumbody out there knows this guy please inform him!! ....Yeah... I guess that's all 4 messus tonight.... At the moment I am listening to a really astounding CD: Bobby McFerrin & Chick Corea: Play (live).... So, if you have any interest in jazz music, you should consider purchasing this one... Also, if U haven't heard Corea's last album (Beneath the Mask) you should check it out too... OK, commercial break ends up here and now I'm going to sleep and then I'm going to wake up. Have a nice time! Adios!
