Welcome to this David Whittaker music-ripper!
This is the very first version of my ripper. That means
no fancy functions.
Available functions:
1. Rip nearly all NEW D.W. tunes (not Bubble Bobble)
2. Scanning in high mem. For 1 Meg. CHIP-Ram users!
Future implementations:
1. Ripping of OLD D.W. tunes. (Are there many??)
2. Nameing and directioning tunes.
3. ??? (Ideas are VERY welcome).
LEFT BUTTON...
INSTRUCTIONS:
First use keys 1,2 or 3 to locate a tune.
Then you can hear the tune, search on or save it.
(If a tune is found you can be 98% sure that it really
IS a D.W. tune. The only thing is, if it has been
damaged! Therefor, look at the lenght to check if it
sounds reasonable. If not, DON'T play it!!!).
SAVING WILL BE DONE TO THE CURRENT DIRECTORY!
PLAYING A RIPPED TUNE:
You can easily use the tune in a demo or whatever you
like to use it in.

In the assembler you load the tune to a location called
for example MUSICBASE. The parameters will then be:
JSR MUSICBASE = Restart tune.
JSR MUSICBASE+$0E = Play tune.
JSR MUSICBASE+$1C = Kill tune.
Could it be easier???
TUNES WHICH I HAVE RIPPED:
I've used this ripper to rip the following tunes:
Xenon 2, Shadow Of The Beast, Cosmic Pirate, Snoopy,
Archipelagos, Eye Of Horus, Fright Night, Custodian.

AUTHORS NOTE:
This ripper was based on my code for a ST-Ripper, it
was never finished becaused everybody made ST-Rippers!
It is a good idea to use trackload when ripping tunes
like Xenon 2 and Beast, because they are protected.
