IF YOU HAVE SEEN A VERSION OF THIS INTRO WITHOUT SOUND THEN I MUST APOLOGISE AS THAT VERION SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN PASSED AROUND... THE CHARACTER SET WAS TAKEN FROM DUKE'S BITPLANE SCROLLER AND THE DIGITISED SOUNDS WERE TAKEN FROM LIGHT CIRCLE AND MEGABYTE INTROS BECAUSE I HAVE NOT GOT A SOUND DIGITISER...      THIS IS MY FIRST 68000 ASSEMBLER PROGRAM AND IT HAS TAKEN ME ABOUT 35 HOURS TO WRITE!    NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL SPEC:- THE COPPER LIST IS 1828 BYTES LONG AS IT CHANGES THE BACKGROUND COLOUR ALMOST EVERY SCAN LINE.  THE DIGITISED SOUND YOU ARE NOW LISTENING TOO IS A MONO SOUND PLAYED THROUGH BOTH SPEAKERS WITH THE RIGHT SIDE DELAYED BY 0.125 OF A SECOND TO GIVE A WIDE STEREO EFFECT.  THESE TWO TEXT SCROLL LINES ARE ON TWO SEPERATE BITPLANES AND HAVE THEIR START POSITIONS CHANGED IN ORDER TO MAKE THEM BOUNCE.  THE TEXT USED TO GO RIGHT INTO THE LEFT BORDER BUT WHEN I ADDED THE SPRITES I FOUND THAT I COULD ONLY USE FOUR OF THEM BECAUSE THE BITPLANE OVERSCAN WAS STEALING THE SPRITE DMA TIME.  THE COLOUR TABLE IS 256 WORDS LONG AND CONSISTS OF 8 COLOUR RANGES.  WHEN THE RASTER REACHES THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN, THE COPPER LIST GENERATES A LEVEL 3 INTERRUPT.  DURING THIS INTERRUPT THE COLOUR VALUES IN THE COPPER LIST ARE UPDATED, THIS TEXT IS SCROLLED USING THE BARREL-SHIFTER OPTION OF THE BLITTER AND THE BITPLANE AND SPRITE POSITIONS ARE UPDATED...      I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS INTRO...      I NOW HAVE TO DO A COUPLE OF GAME CONTRACTS ON THE CBM64, WHICH SHOULD PAY FOR A FEW MEG OF MEMORY AND A HARD DRIVE AMOUNGST OTHER THINGS!  THESE SHOULD BE FINISHED IN ABOUT 2-3 MONTHS.  THEN I HOPE TO GET A LOT BETTER ON THE AMIGA SO THAT I CAN CODE A GAME OR TWO...........
