@1Howdy fellas! @3Believe it or not; you're actually looking at the latest
release of the @1Official EuroChart Top Ten@3. Like last time, it's me,
@1Dr.  Outtasight @3who does the scroll text @1(I wonder why!?)@3 so let's
kick-off with something that'll make your eyes pop out. Speaking of
@1eyes:@3 Ever heard this one before ? The eye specialist and the
gynaecologist had been close friends for a very long time and one day the
eye specialist reached his 50th birthday. From the gyneacologist he got a
cake covered with lots of small eyes. The next day the gyneacologist got a
note from the eye specialist that said: @1Thanks for the cake. Looking
forward to your 50th birthday.@3 Hehe. Just as you thought; It's all jokes
and funny stuff when I get hold of the keyboard. Besides jokes, I don't
think I'm gonna talk about much else. It just seems such a waste of good
raster... One thing though (I just @1HAVE@3 to tell you) is my new
@1VCR!@3 It's the best. Simply THE best VCR in the world. So what's so
good about it ? Well, for starters it has all the obvious: @1fast/slow
play, 2x picture rate, three heads, a text generator@3 so you can write
scrolltext on top of your favorite programs, and so on... But the best
thing about it is the remote control (WHAT ?!?!? Your VCR doesn't have a
remote control ?) The remote control has @167@3 buttons and an @1LCD@3
display. And it even has a built-in joystick! Enough about that. You
don't want to hear about my new VCR, do you... No ? You just want to hear
some more jokes ? Ok, here's a joke for you: There was this shy and
beautiful young girl who visited her doctor for the yearly tests. The
doc: @2Please take off your clothes and lay down on the bench.@3 The girl:
@1But I can't undress while someone's looking!@3 So the doctor walks over
to the door and swithes off the light. The girl: @1When I'm undressed,
where shall I put my clothes ?@3 The doc: @2Ah, just put them on top of
mine..... @3 Har Har ! While I'm at it here's another one : A sixteen
year old virgin girl goes to confession. @1"Father, I called a man a
son-of-a-bitch yesterday" @2"Why did you call him a son-of- a-bitch??"@3
the priest asked. @1"Because, father, he touched me on my arm without
permission" @2 "Do you mean like this??" @3He touches her arm. @1"Yes
father." @2 "That's no reason for calling him a son-of-a-bitch" @1"But
father he also touched my breasts" @2"You mean like this??" @3He touches
her breasts. @1"Yes father." @2 "That's no reason to call him a
son-of-a-bitch." @1 "But father, he took off my clothes." @2 "Like this??"
@3He takes off her clothes. @1"Yes father". @2 "That's no reason to call
him a son-of-a-bitch." @1 "But father he then put his you-know-what in my
you-know-where." @2"Like this??" @3He put his you-know-what in her
you-know-where.  @1"Yes father,"@3 she says sometime later.  @2"But that's
no reason to call him a son-of-a-bitch." @1"But father, he has AIDS"
@2"THAT SON-OF-A-BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!" @3Woooo! That was knorty! Anyway, we
interrupt this scroller for a little piece written by Bustman - here he
goes ... Another Eurochart follows with another commercial break. You
guessed it, this is as always the freaky Bustman dropping in with another
ordinary advertisement. This stuff is actually concerning the fantastic
subject called graphics. To make it short as a snort, you are once again
able to buy some of the most outstanding graphics around. You are now able
to improve the graphical layout of your productions with professional
workmanship. Just take a look at the artwork in this issue of the as ever
popular Eurochart. I have as far as it has been possible tried to make the
graphics great. High standard techniques have been used to get the very
best results. You can order everything between ordinary charsets to small
pictures, you can get whatever you want. The only exception is full size
pictures, because I seldom have the time to finish such a large work. And
of course, all graphics ordering are drawed especially for you and have not
been used ever before. You can do whatever you want with it, as long as
you give me credits. When it comes to payment, I will charge in
non-formatted quality disks. The disks should be in a good state of
health, so to speak clean and fresh from the fridge. The prices will range
after how much work I have used on the graphics. If this offer sounds
tempting, here is some information on how to order. Remember to state
exactly what you want, how many bitplanes, what resolution, and especially
the size if it is a matter of charsets. This will make things a lot more
easier. Well, you should now go and get your pen and paper, because my
address is following. Write at any time to...
      BUSTMAN/CRUSADERS      -      MYRDALSKOGEN 379      -      5095 ULSET
      -      NORWAY  ...  ...
And there is no need to include disks, I will write back to you when the
graphics are finished. Then you can send me a disk that I can use to
return your order. I am now sitting here listening to an unbelievable cool
and funky tune made by Fleshbrain, called Mercury Wind. Just love it! It
really gets me in the mood! And as this text fades out, I just want to say
hello to all my friends and contacts. Backing out now, see you all later
somewhere...  ...  ...  ...  ...  And this is where Dr.Outtasight gets back
to the keyboard, to give us a couple of jokes I think... Here he goes:
Since you've already have gotten the usual amount of what's what and who's
who and who did what about this EuroChart, I'll give you one more joke, but
that's it for jokes. (It's quite a long one so pay attention!) There once
was a brother and a sister, fraternal twins, who were approaching their
high school graduation. It was getting near prom night and neither of them
had a date for it. So one day, the girl approaches her brother and says
@1"Hey, you got a date for the prom yet?" He says @2"No, why? You got
someone lined up for me?" @1"You might say that. Why don't you take me to
the prom?" @1"Take you? You kidding? You're my sister!" @2"Well, are you
taking somebody else out?" @1"You know I don't have a date, Sis." @2"And
neither do I. But we both want to go to the prom, don't we?" Her brother
nods. She continues, @2"So we should go with each other." @3The brother
can't see anything wrong with her reasoning, so he tells his sister that if
neither of them has a date by Wednesday evening, he will take her to the
prom. Wednesday evening rolls around. Neither of the siblings has a date,
so the the brother tells his sister that he'll take her to the prom on
Friday. At the prom, both of them have a good time. The brother is glad
that his sister talked him into taking her. Then, while he's standing at
the punch bowl, his sister comes up to him again. @2"Hey, brother, let's
dance." @3He looks around to make sure that nobody heard her. @1"Look,
Sis, this is the Senior Prom, okay? I'm not going to dance with my own
sister at the prom, okay?" @2"Don't be so shy. Look, Jimmy Elder is
dancing with his cousin. So why can't you dance with your sister?" @1"Oh .
. . all right." @3So they dance, a slow number. The rest of the prom
passes by and after a while it's over and time to go. Both of them have
had a good time. In the car, with the brother at the wheel, the sister
looks over at him and says, @2"Let's not go straight home." @3He gives her
a curious look and says, @1"What are we going to do instead?" @2"Oh, I
don't know. Just drive around." @3He agrees, and after they have driven
around for a while, out in the country she looks over at him again and says
@2"Want to find some place to park?" @1"Hell," he says, @1"are you crazy?
You're my sister, I'm not going parking with you!" @2"Who said anything
about 'going parking'? Let's just pull over somewher and talk for a while,
okay? It's been a busy year for both of us-- how long has it been since
we've had a chance to talk to each other?" @3So she finally talks her
brother into pulling the car over on a secluded back road, and after a few
minutes of idle talk, she looks over at him again. @2"Hey . . . " @3she
says. @2"What?" "Why don't you kiss me?" @1"You've been suggesting a lot
of weird things lately, you know that? I' not going to kiss you, you're my
sister!" @3And he reached for the ignition switch to start the car. She
reached out and took his hand. @2"I know I'm your sister. You've
mentioned that a lot lately. And you're my brother. And don't we love
each other? Why shouldn't we kiss if we feel like it?" @3She kissed him on
the cheek and he kissed her back. After a few minutes of kissing, she
whispered in his ear, @2"Come on. Let's do it." @1"Do what," @3said her
brother, but he had a good idea of what his sister had in mind. @2"You
know what," @3his sister replied. @1"I can't do that with you, you're my
 .  .  .  "
@3His voice trailed off. While he was on top of her, his sister murmured,
@2"You know, you're a lot lighter than Dad." @1"I know," @3said her
brother. @1"Mom told me."@3 Oh my goodness. That may have been a bit too
norty. Next time someone will put a XXX-rated sticker on the EuroChart
disks for sure.... Hey! I have some messages here : First of all
@1HeatBeat / Sector 4:@3 Great music on that demo with the planet with the
scrolltext around it! And remember to send me that picture of
you-know-who!  Then a message for @1WizeGuy / Triumph:@3 Please stick to
@2convetional@3 weapons when you're in war with that other guy on the
board. Most of your latest productions cause bursts of @2laughter@3 and
does harm to both civilians-, and innocent people's @2stomach regions.
Keep it up 'ol gringo! Then a @2BIG HELLO!@3 to all the guys we met in
@1London@3 a while ago. An especially knorty hello to @2Martyn / Newsflash
UK. @1(Yes I know you liked the last joke, @2Mr. James Brown)@3 And say
hello to the guys at the local pub, and tell them there'll be a @2viking
@1invasion@3 next year too! And then a message for all users at the
@2Crusaders @1World @2Head @1Quarters @2BBS@3 who never seem to read the
messages I write: @1The defective harddisk is now replaced and the files
are restored. In other words: Business as usual. @3 And don't forget to
call our other board too @2The Golden Gate@3 Number ? Ah... I don't
remember... Nah. Just kidding. @2The number is : @1+47-42-46718@3 Ok.
That's it for the messages. Now for something completely different:
    A joke: The newly wedded man instructs his wife:
If you want to have sex, pull my old johnny one time. If you don't want to
have sex, just pull it 200 times. @2Hehehehehaaaa!@3 Did you know that
even poems can be funny ? Don't believe me ? Watch this then : Mother
held her little daughter twenty minutes under water - Not to save herself
from trouble - just to see the funny bubbles... Now here's an allmost true
story: One guy I knew had his girlfriend's name tatooed on his Willie.
The girl's name was @2Wendy@3, but when it wasn't erected it only read the
letters @2Wy@3. While doing his millitary service he met this black guy in
the shower. He noticed that the black guys Willie also had the letters Wy
tatooed on the side, and he asked: @1So you have Wendy tatooed on your's
too ?@3 The black guy gives him a strange grin and answers @2"No mahrn,
Nooo. Mine sayz @1'Welcome to Zimbabwe. This is your lucky day' !! @2Hoo
Hooo ! @3It's been a lot of jokes this time, so no more jokes. Just a
question I've always wanted to ask. @1Where did Prince Charles spend his
honeymoon ? @2InDiana.....@3 Of course... Where else?
    That's all for me this time. So until next time
you'll just have to make them jokes up yourselves. @2Repeat until
Ctrl-LAmiga-RAmiga...

@1 WELCOME TO THE 6TH ISSUE OF

@2              THE OFFICIAL

               CRUSADERS

               EUROCHART

                TOP-TEN

@1 THIS IS OUR 1-YEAR CELEBRATION ISSUE

@3  ------------------------------------

@1 After 1 year of EuroCharting, we

            hereby announce

@2          R E D   S E C T O R

@1 as "Group Of The Year" 1990

They have been right there at no. 1 on

lots of lists. Red Sector is the group

that is most often seen in the charts -

without much competition really.

Who will become Group Of The Year 1991 ?

Paradox?  Angels?  Scoopex?  Anarchy?

Budbrain?  Tristar?  Kefrens?

@2 READ THE EUROCHART - AND FIND OUT !

@3 ------------------------------------

@1The small font in this EuroChart (the

one you're looking at now) was made by

@2           Metallion / Kefrens

@3 ------------------------------------

@1Ok, here are some important messages to

our readers, The Diskback-Service users,

those who have helped us, those with big

mouths, etc. etc.. we urge everyone to

please read this.

@3------------------------------------

@2        Diskback Service users:

@1Remember that it costs one 3.5" fully

working disk to use the diskback

service. From now on, if you only send

1 disk, you won't see that disk again...

Sorry folks, but we have to do it this

way to avoid turning the EuroChart into

a full-time job!

Please do not complain if the eurochart

you received had a read/write error. It

is your own disk, and you should check

it before you send it. If you send a

bad disk, you get the same bad disk

back. What do you want us to do, give

you a new, working disk? Get outta

here...

@3  ------------------------------------

@2        Very Special Thanks To:

@1         Swapperjack / Euphoria

           Raistlin / Anarchy

             Mole / Anarchy

          Chester / Brainstorm

          Prot Killer / Zenith

             Turmoil / Rare

            Al Capone / Zeus

      Punisher / Harman Kardon -90

         TTV / Perfect Illusion

            Headless / Cave

        Amiga Wizard / Megalight

 for spreading out vote sheets for us.

@3-------------------------------------

@2              To everyone:

@1We're turning the Eurochart into a scene

chart. That means we'll no longer

include entries such as "Gfx from

Beast", "Cinemaware", etc.  Only Persons

from the scene will be in the charts.

So please stop voting for game-graphics/

music/code etc.

@3-------------------------------------

@2          Djengis Khan / Yack:

@1Hej p^ jer, sjove drenge. Det g~r sku'

ikke noget, at i skriver p^ dansk. Det

er sku' dejligt - at vi norsker kan lese

dansk!  M^ske, kunde fler skandinavier

skrive p^ sitt eget sprog...

@2                Greets!

@3-------------------------------------

@2United Forces:

@1Please don't count the votes like you

did last time - simply send us all the

voting forms. We have our own

procedures for counting votes, and the

way you did it only made the job worse.

Thanks for trying anyway...

@3--------------------------------------

@1This issue's music is titled "MINDSTORM"

and it was made by Fleshbrain, also

known as "Sir Fleshenberger", "Flesh For

Brains" etc.  etc.  :-)

@2                 ENJOY!

@3------------------------------------

@1We are constantly looking for ways to

improve the EuroChart - please send us

your opinions! What should be in, what

should be out, how about the layout,

etc.  etc.

@3------------------------------------

@1Starting from next issue, the demo

charts will be split up into two

different sections, one for mega-demos

and one for one-part demos. Remember

this when you vote!

@3------------------------------------

@1Also, next time there won't be a "worst

movie" section. Due to the amount of

work the EuroChart requires, we have to

cut down on something. And "worst

movies" is probably the least

interesting section. Isn't it...?

@3------------------------------------

@2Changes since the September issue:

* @1Due to poor response from USA,

  we've put the screen back in PAL

  mode.

@2* @1The topics "Worst Album", "Worst

  Single" and "Worst Music Video"

  are taken out. There was not much

  variety in these lists - they were

  getting boring. Next time, there

  won't be any "Worst movie" either.

@2* @1We've expanded some of the charts,

  to display the 20 most popular

  entries, instead of 10. Thanks to

  Chester/Brainstorm for this one!

@2* @1Waldemar snorted an overdose of

  tri-atenatylsulphatozionium, the

  strongest drug known to mankind,

  and has mysteriously disappeared.

  (with his 7 twin brothers).

@3------------------------------------

@1Some readers have remarked that certain

groups / disk mags etc. are dead, and

should no longer appear in the charts.

That's not the way we see it. even if a

group is dead - if the voters still

think it WAS a great group - that's what

the charts should reflect. Take another

example: even though the pop group Roxy

Music is now split up, I still vote for

their album "Avalon" as one of the best

albums ever made. Let's say if Scoopex

was to break up now, their "Mental

Hangover" would still be one of the best

demos around, right?

Of course, as time goes by, people will

forget about the dead groups, and they

will disappear from the charts by

themselves.

@3------------------------------------

@1We would like to remind all modem users

that it is also possible to call any of

our boards and vote directly on-line.

@2 For our "Home Sweet Home" HQ BBS

@1           DIAL +47 6 810881

           OR   +47 6 810864

@2 Or call our "Golden Gate" board

@1              +47 42 46718

@3------------------------------------

@2Speaking of BBS's:

Some people seem to think that the size

of a BBS depends on the supported speed

of the modem. ("Crusaders only have a

little board because it's only at 2400

baud..") Hahaha well that just goes to

show how little they know about BBS'ing

and the wonderful world of telecomms.

Our HQ BBS has:

- 4 Nodes (2 local, 2 external)

- 1050 (!) users from absolutely all

  over the world.

- 2500 files online

- 27 file directories

- 20 conferences of different access

  levels

This makes it the BIGGEST Amiga BBS in

Europe.

The reason for only having 2400 baud is

that we do NOT have pirated games on the

board, and when you take away all the

lamers who just want to download the

latest games, only about one out of 100

users have faster modems. There simply

isn't much need for it.

The board has everything you want in PD,

demoes, utilities, graphics, music, help

sections, conferences about software,

hardware, records, roleplay, etc.  etc.

We believe that this is something more

than what the average so-called "elite"

board offers.

If all you're interested in is getting

hold of the latest stupid games, then

fine - call your "elite" board and

download all day. If you're into

computing and telecomms, maybe you

should consider a real BBS.

In the future we would prefer that

people who don't have the slightest idea

what they're talking about should maybe

try to set up something for themselves

and see what it's all about, instead of

making themselves look silly by

commenting on something way out of their

league.

The Official Crusaders Eurochart Top Ten is different from other charts because
EVERYONE can take part in the voting, not just a few selected groups. The charts
are compiled from the votes we receive, and the results are presented in a
"demo-like" program, like this. A new issue of the Eurochart is released every
2nd month.

The main organizers behind the Eurochart are El Cubo and Dr.Awesome, with help
from the rest of The Crusaders. But we are also depending on help from the
readers, in order to make the lists as realistic as possible, so please help us
by sending your votes today! If you vote, you will even find YOUR name in the
next issue of the Eurochart. (Check the "thanks" section)

                               DISK-BACK SERVICE
                              -------------------

As we said in the last issue the Disk-back Service (DBS) is no longer free of
charge. The costs were simply too large for us to handle. So if you want a copy
of The Crusaders Eurochart Top Ten sent directly to you, this is what you ought
to do:

Write down your votes on a piece of paper. Write your address on the label of a
disk, and send the disk, your votes and an extra disk to:

                                  CRUSADERS
                                  P.O. Box 45
                                  1472 NORDBYHAGEN
                                  NORWAY

The extra disk is meant to pay for the postage when we return your disk. If
there is no extra disk enclosed, we will NOT return your disk. Please make sure
the disks are error-free, since we cannot take any responsibility for read/write
errors on the returned Eurochart.

* You are NOT allowed to vote for yourself, your group, or any other member
  of your group. If you do so, your vote will be ignored.

* No use in voting for Crusaders or any of our products - we won't put our-
  selves in the lists anyway.

* You can put down as many entries as you wish. They will be given 3, 2 and
  1 points. For example, if you vote for RSI, Anarchy, Paradox and Phenomena
  as best groups, then RSI will be given 3 points, Anarchy 2, and the rest
  of them will get one point each.

* The votes are NOT limited to one person for each group. Send votes from as
  many members as you like, but if we discover any cheating, we will write
  about it in the next issue, and you will not be allowed to vote again.

* Everyone can vote for the EuroChart. It doesn't matter if you're a total
  looser, or if you're the leader of a big group. All votes are treated equally.
