Now some very simple instructions on how to make Waldemar speed up his work a bit, to give you faster text output. If you press SPACE, you will activate the @2speed-up-Waldemar@1 option, which makes him run around like a maniac! Have you tried it? No? Well try it now... select a list and press SPACE, ok? Did you see that? We figured Waldemar was a cool fellah, but he was a bit too slow... so if you press the @2SPACE BAR@1, Waldemar (and his 7 twin brothers) will immediately be given a real good snort, a noseful of the well known @2TRI-ATENLATYLE-MORBIDO-GRITZHEIM@1 super drug. With this stuff up his nose, he can go on and on and on and on... He might also do s-t-r-a-n-g-e things, like the @3MOOWALK@1 ! Wanna see it? ok... Hey Waldemar! Get out here and do the moodwalk, awrite ?!? *0 Good eh? Ok, 'nuff about Waldemar for now, here goes Bustman.... @2...Hello!! This is Bustman writing... In fact, this is my first scrolltext written for Crusaders!! ...I am now sitting alone here at my own place, doing nothing really. That is just like me, relaxing the whole day. Last night, at about three o'clock, I finished a drawing... boy I was tired!! It is quite unbelievable that I woke up this Sunday at all. Well, tomorrow I am going to post the drawing to Dr.Awesome, together with about fifteen other sendings. Crusaders have just released two demos, and I thought my contacts would like to have them. Phew, sometimes I hate copying disks, especially when I have a lot more sensible things to do. ...I could of course go on in ages writing about everything and nothing, but I will not. The weather today is really hot and sunny, which is extremely unusual here in this part of the country. Actually, there have not been one single day without rain the last four months!! @1(That's a lie -ed)@2 So now I am going to get myself the hell out of here, and enjoy the warm weather. ...Well, before I leave, here are some quick greets to some of my friends... Hello to: All other people in Crusaders including Dr.Awesome, Zuggly, Lazerbrain and Switchblade - No Limits - Triangle 3532 - Complex - Fraxion - Rebels - Team-X - Red Sector Inc. - System 5 - Necatrix - Cult - Disknet ...To the about thirty other people I swap with, hello to you too. I can not remember you all... Sorry! ...But now, sunbathing time!! Bye!! @1 That's it from Bustman - and now back to me, Dr.Awesome. The rest of this scroller will contain nothing of importance, just some loose smalltalk, greetings, speculations over the @3Eurochart@1 and the results etc. etc. It looks like the @3Eurochart@1 is really getting through to people out there now... Steady increase of the number of votes coming in shows that... So you guys have finally noticed that the @2Eurochart@1 has come to stay, have you? It's not going to end up like a whole bunch of other mags, just one or two issues and then they burn out. (I'm not saying all of them do... just @2most@1 of them...) All due credit must go to the hard working guys making disk mags - it's a tough job, but what would the Amiga scene be without some good diskmags...? One thing bothers me, though... @3Why@1 can't you stop writing german in your mags? You must understand by now that nobody (at least very few) outside Germany understand @2shit@1 of it, and we just turn to the next page... Don't you want to reach as many readers as possible?? Well the @3first@1 thing to do is get the magazine out in 100% english language! Think about this... Ok now let's talk a little about the @3EuroChart@1 - that's what we're here for, isn't it? @2El Cubo@1 finally got @3smart@1, and coded a little program to help us count the votes - now it takes less time, but then again we get more votes, so counting them is still one helluva job!!! Anyway now we mostly *1just enter numbers and get the results out of El Cubo's little cute program. Of course including percentages etc. El Cubo and myself (Dr.Awesome) are the two "main" guys behind the @3EuroChart@1 - I guess you could say we're the editors. But in reallity, @2YOU@1, the whole Amiga scene, is the editor of this very different mag. I wouldn't really call it a magazine, though - more like an indication of what moves in the scene, the "pulse of the scene", so to speak... A few things are bugging us about the voting... first of all some people don't seem to understand that you @3cannot vote for yourself@1! Is it so hard to follow this very simple rule? Another thing is that some things on the charts never seem to change... I mean, look at @3X-Copy@1... it's no. 1 on the utilities chart again. But think about it, guys... Think of programs like @2Music-X@1, @3DeluxePaint 3@1, @2Professional Page@1... are you guys absolutely sure that Xcopy is the best utility program ever made ???? Comoaaaan! It's very tempting to believe that a whole bunch of lamers are voting... maybe XCopy is the only utility that they can manage to operate? Maybe copying games is all they can do, and that's why they think XCopy is so wonderful? I'm not saying XCopy is bad, it's a great copy-program, but does it match DPaint III and Professional Page in quality ? I don't think so... My guess is that a majority of the voters are swappers, and the swappers only use XCopy... Next time let's see another good utility on top of the utility list... please! Another thing... @2Batman, the movie@1... Ok, all you Batman-haters, we've got the point now - you can let go of Batman and start voting for something new... by the way it's total and utter bullshit anyway... How can Batman @3possibly@1 be the worst movie ever made ?!!!! @2Ace@1 actor @3Jack Nicholson@1 made a wonderful performance in this cult fantasy movie. Think about this: ..is @2Police Academy 6@1 a better movie than Batman ? Is "Friday the 13th part 3874" a better movie than Batman ? Rambo 3 ?? ?? NO ! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! So lay off Batman for a while now, ok? I think most people have understood how much you hate it... How about changing to something else, after half a year of Batman for worst movie? Ok enough about that ! Well, as you can see, we've changed the layout a bit this time. Personally I think it looks quite good this time, mostly because of Bustman's graphics. We will continue to change the "look" of the @2EuroChart@1 every now and then. That makes it less boring, don't you think? However we will not change it every time, we can't spend that much time on the it. Anyway, the main attraction this time is of course @3Waldemar@1 (and his 7 twin *1brothers) - working very hard to give you the information you need. I hope you appreciate what he does - remember, he must be exhausted after putting up list for you! Anyway, on with the chart I guess.. As you can hear, we've picked a really good summer-is-here-song for this issue. What could be better in the sun, than Fleshbrain's great Jamaican beat, to give you that nice summer feeling. This song is called "Jamboree" - composed and performed by Fleshbrain / Crusaders. It's certainly a bit @3different@1, don't you think? While we're at it we might just as well bring you the rest of the credits as well.... @2General organizers of the Eurochart : Dr.Awesome & El Cubo @1.......@3 Graphics : Bustman & Dr.Awesome @1........... @2Serious vote-spreading by all of Crusaders and with good help from @3Joker/Network@1 (thanks man) .........@2 Code by El Cubo@1 ......... and as I said : @3Music by Fleshbrain@1 ..... Ok that's it I think - now onto some more talk about the EuroChart. Some of you readers have asked us to split up the "best group" section into "Best demo group", "Best cracking group", "Best trainer group" etc. and we have thought about this a lot, and decided NOT to do it. We agree that it can be a bit unfair to some groups, but still think this is the best way to do it. First of all because there aren't that many cracking groups... I'm not even sure there are as many as 10 that worth mentioning, and besides, we think it's very interesting to see *0what is more popular - cracking or coding. The way we do it now, means the demo groups compete against the cracking groups, and that should make a good indication as to which kind of group is more popular. This time @2Red Sector Inc.@1 won the "Best Group" chart, and I think that shows that demo coding groups are more popular than cracking groups. @3Scoopex@1 are also doing very well on the groups chart, due to their brilliant demoes. ok 'nuff about that.... I (Dr.Awesome) will now take 2 minutes to send away some personal helloes to some of the cool people out there making the Amiga scene worthwhile.... First of all @2Ey Up Spadge - good luck in your new job!@1 Keep them megaletters coming ... and don't ever let me catch you mentioning me and buckets again ! ;-) I might have to do something about it... Dr.Buquette =:-(#) <-- that's Spadge being sick .... *1 next off is @3Aka of X-Men Finland@1 - thanks again for the cool hat ! But I've lost your address !!!! Can you please write back to me ??!?!? Ok, hello to The Dualist (or is it the Duellist?) of Fairlight (Tape? What tape?) Also say hello to Surfer-bob and Guitar-Steve ..... Hello to @3Ecstacy UK@1, especially @2Big Al@1 and @2Havok@1 - see you 9th of September guys! You'll get to know what it's like to be beaten in ALE drinking by real Norwegian vikings! hehee ..call me some time ok? So we can make some plans... Hello to Paul in London too - looking forward to see you again mate... This time we @2are@1 going to turn London upside down. Very much hello to our main man Garfield in West Germany and whichever girlfriend he's got at *0the moment... Hello to Marc "Panther" of Phoenix ! Call me will you? I have a few things to tell you about Noisetracker/Soundtracker... Special greetings to everyone else in the world making some kind of diskmags, that includes Brainstorm, Alpha Flight, Red Sector Inc., Paradox, Link, Italian Bad Boys, Dual Crew and everyone else in the Disk-mag business. ...aw shit - as I'm sitting here typing this my face feels like it's about to blow up. I'm caught a bad case of the flu and I feel like a baloon! All sorts of disgusting things are coming out of my nose, my eyes, my ears... can it be a virus ? Oh GOD I hope it's not the Lamer Exterminator ! Shit, and I've been using Virus-X and everything! How could *1this happen? Anyway, a day with the flu means a day off work, and it's not that bad afterall... By the way, while we're talking about Virus-X I feel I should warn you all about version 4.4 of the program. Virus-X version 4.4 is NOT a true update from the author, Steve Tibbot. It is simply something some lamers spread out, and the 4.4 version is in fact identical to version 4.0 - ONLY the version number on screen is changed. Oh well what time is it? I think it's time to watch some football - Kameroon is gonna win this sucker... Ok so it looks like that's the end of this scroller then - thanks for showing your interest in the Eurochart, and we'll see you again in 2 months... Say goodbye to Waldemar too .... *1 Ah there he is.. Ok see you all later then... sod off.

The Official Crusaders Eurochart Top Ten is different from other charts,
because EVERYONE can take part in the voting, not just a few selected
groups. The charts are compiled from the votes we receive, and the results
are presented in a "demo-like" program, like this. A new issue of the
Eurochart is released every 2nd month.

The main organizers behind the Eurochart are El Cubo and Dr.Awesome, with
help from the rest of The Crusaders. But we are also depending on help from
the readers, in order to make the lists as realistic as possible, so please
help us by sending your votes today! If you vote, you will even find YOUR
name in the next issue of the Eurochart. (Check the "thanks" section)

Introducing the non-resistable...

        DISK BACK SERVICE !

How to use the DiskBack-Service:

* Write down your votes for the next
  issue of the EuroChart

* Write your name and address on a 3.5" disk

* Send the disk and your votes to the following address:
  "Chart", PO.Box 45, 1474 NORDBYHAGEN, NORWAY

* We will return your disk with the next issue of the Eurochart, as soon as it's
  ready.

Do not send a disk without enclosing any votes, as this disk will not be
returned. For those of you who live overseas (outside Europe), please
enclose one extra disk to pay for postage. If you live in Europe, we will
pay for the postage when we send your disk back.

         * HOW TO VOTE FOR THE *
         *        EUROCHART        *

* You are NOT allowed to vote for yourself,
your group, or any other member of your
group. If you do so, your vote will be
  ignored.

* No use in voting for Crusaders or any of our
products - we won't put ourselves in the
  lists anyway.

* You can put down as many entries as you wish.
They will be given 3,2 and 1 points. For
example, if you vote for RSI, Paranoimia,
Quartex and Phenomena as best groups, then RSI will be given 3 points,
Paranoimia 2, and the rest of them will get one point each.

* The votes are NOT limited to one person for each group. Send votes from as
many members as you like, but if we discover any cheating, we will write
about it in the next issue, and you will not be allowed to vote again.

* Everyone can vote for the EuroChart. It doesn't matter if you're a total
looser, or if you're the leader of a big group. All votes are treated
  equally.
