This project has
been a dream of mine
for a loong time and

... As you might
have heard already,
I was forced 2 leave
COMPLEX for a better
group.They offered
so much great things
like 3 free meals a
day,free housing,a
koooool wardrobe and
a really bitchin'
assault-rifle. The
group is of course
the famous SA-INT!!!
Unfortunately my
contract will expire
in the beginning of
July '93, so after
that I'll have 2
rejoin COMPLEX ...
.. All the tunes
on this music disk
were finished before
the summer of '92,
as I haven't had any
spare time to do
music since.Uhh, I
miss those days when
I was a civilian and
all this army-crap
was just a bad dream
to be dreamt sumtime
in distant future ..
And due to this lack
of time I haven't
been able to reply 2
anybody who wrote to
me on these last 5-6
months. I'm REALLY
sorry for this. I'll
try my best 2 send
this musicdisk to as
many of U as I can,
but there are so
many letters, and so
little time. I get
something like 10-15
letters a week,and
I don't even get 2
spend X-mas or New
Year's Eve at home.
.. Heh, just got
back from rallying
around. First snow
hit southern Finland
ja kaikki Vataset,
Kankkuset and other
hungover people are
spinning their cars
with handbrakes and
without hands or
brains .. I only
hit one streetsign
and three skiers !!!

I'm having serious
trouble choosing
one more track for
this music disk,
and I have two I'd
like to include.
Guess I'll call
Jugi and see what's
cookin' and how
much diskspace is
left .. There is
this one joint
adventure between
me and Jugi.It's
a really jazzed up
piece,and has no
real melody,just
jams after another.
I've been thinking
about this project
between Jugi and me
with every track
composed together,
not a few individual
tunes put on the
same disk. I think
that the track I
mentioned 16 lines
earlier shouldn't be
included on that
disk .. Besides,
it really doesn't
fit the overall
mood of the disk
we're currently
working on ...
O.K, at this point
I want to thank all
those people who
have called me up
just 2 tell me
they liked a tune
I did for a demo
or something, most
recent caller being
FACET of ANARCHY..
Usually after a
call like that,I
start composing a
new tune with this
stupid grin on my

a really low bass
with excessive
syncopation ....

Whoa, now this one
is a really weird
exploration of my
dark mind.It was
strangely enough
inspired by the
album from Simple
Minds called 'Real
Life'. Yes, that
album was fairly new
then, so the track
is pretty...
It's not exactly
your average music,
so many of U might
find it not so
pleasing at first,
but with a little
effort,you might
like it too !?!?!?

This little tune is
a tribute to my
favoutire instrument
Bass Guitar! Bass samples
in this module are those
which were first used in
that infamous Gospel
Karaoke Demo. I sampled
these sounds from dHM's
'little' brother's bass
guitar(thanx Marko!)
Actually there r samples
from two different
session, first ones were
sampled directly from
the amplifier with dHM's
lame sampler(hehe)
the others were sampled
at my place directly from
mixer,so they r much
better quality..
Ok...well this is just
some music put around
these bass and guitar
grooves..nothing more...
(sorry 'bout the lame
organ solos.. :-) )

This track was
finished almost a
year ago. It was
described by Jugi as
a soundtrack from a
chase-scene where a
plane was flying on
top of a city at
night, with a view
from the cockpit as
the lit scyscrapers
and carlights passed
by .. Hmm, and all
this he came up with
after hearing it on
the phone...
The sax parts are
a result of finally
getting a decent sax
sound to do a solo
that would not sound
like an eskimo with
a flu.I do have my
own sax, but the
idea of sampling it
would require a set
of pro recording
equipment.
4 listeners with
a bit more knowledge
about music, U can
hear a part where I
continuously change
the measure between
4/4 and 3/4. I got
the idea from a song
from Kate Bush. Jugi
is the biggest fan
of Kate ever, and he
pointed me out this
kool part in - was
it Wuthering Heigts
or what .. I can't
remember,but still
it sounds kool, eh??
Also,the drums
are an effort 2 do
a more complex (!)
rhythm than the
average bd-sd things
that too many people
use 2 cover a very
important part of
music - rhythm - the
thing that makes a
funky tune groove !!
Of course sometimes
the mood of a song
can't handle a beat
that strong, and
needs a more subtle
background rhythm,
but there aren't
that many ballads
flying around the
Amiga demoscene.
- A TOUCH OF GREEN -
This is one of the
newest tunes on this
musicdisk.Still,
it's almost a year
old.I'd just heard
an unbelievably
beautiful classical
piece 4 the tuba,
and it had this
atmospheric feel 2
it and I had 2 try
and make something
using a tuba-sound
too.This is what I
came up with.To me
it sounds out of the
ordinary where Amy
music is concerned.
Don't know if it's
the tuba, or the
tune itself, I
suspect it's the
previous ...
I hope the different
lead doesn't turn
people off.I'd luv
to see people go
out of their way 2
find something novel
4 the sounds in
their songs,and by
doing this, making
a fresh sounding
piece. There are of
course many who try
to stand out of the
masses, and these
people I really
admire.Unfortunately
the 'masses' mostly
want 2 hear what
they are used to ...
These people that
try something new
and don't 'go with
the flow' usually
don't get 2 be
that famous,with
a few exceptions 2
confirm the rule ...

Hah,this funny piece
was started as a
beat,after getting
fed up with all
those idiotic beats
that I heard all
around.This beat
was inspired by a
song on the LEVEL 42
album 'Guaranteed'.
Or rather the beat
on a cut from the
same album. Then I
just started playing
around and adding
stuff into it, and
after a while, I
had a finished track
with a statement ...
Don't ask me where
the name Space Cadet
comes from.I don't
have the slightest
clue... It's sort of
an 'affair' and it
somehow doesn't seem
2 have a place
anywhere,so we
decided to include
it here.Let's hope
U like the effort of
making a nice beat
2 it ...

'BabyWear' ?? .. Get
real for a change !!
Yes, well - this one
is one of the first
tunes I made using
the fab sounds of my
KORG 01/Wfd. The
weird percussion
sounds are all a bit
modified and stuff
like that,but almost
every sound can be
found in a standard
setup ..
The name came from
realising that the
beginning is based
on an improvisation
I did with the sound
called 'Gamelan' ...
Sounds just like a
nursery song, only
it's 4 a psychobaby.
I've sent most of
these pieces to an
old friend of mine
called ICE, and he
always had interesting
comments about my music
I wish I had written
them down sometime.
U'd have a blast
reading them .. =:-)

You're soon entering
the deltaphase of
your sleep. Yes,well
this piece was
composed after
reading A LOT about
sleep.About R.E.M.
and stuff like that.
There is this very
chaotic point in
this tune,and it's
portraying a person
falling in deep
sleep,and starting
to rewind all things
that have happened
to her/him on past
few days.There's
no sense in what's
going on at that
point, just things
linking together
in your mind,
without any real
connection at all !!
Then,there's the
'awakening' part
where the 'sleeper'
re-enters light
sleep,and just
rests ... Heh,
pretty weird stuff
for a tune,eh ??
Oh well, just listen
2 the tune,and
don't fall asleep...

of making this tune
took some time due
2 making all the
samples myself.I
had this picture in
my mind, and there
were these samples I
heard on my mind ...
It's weird though,as
I hardly ever have
a complete picture
of what I wanna do,
just a faint idea of
the tune 2 be.
With this piece,
everything was in
place before I even
sat down and loaded
ProTracker. I woke
up and this thing
kept bothering me
and I just 'copied'
it down, and now
