               ========.°  <-  d'u know what i mean?

FLAPJACK/APPENDIX on line. As you may have
probably reliazed #10 issue of PSYCHOL has been just
released :) I hope all of ya already seem issue #9,
which was the first new-designed issue. Anyway, I
guess Psychol #9 was rather unspreaded around the
scene. Many people thought I pass the scene
activity for good and the PSYCHOL serie is over, but
they were fucking wrong. I had to leave the scene
for several months, due to Informer's hardware
problems. He simply had to use my amy insted of his
own. Results? MYSTIQUE/APPENDIX - 2nd at the IO4,
and Spawn/Appendix - 1st at the Gravity2. About two
months ago I bought 040 board from ZIG/FLOPPY, not
because I needed some extra power, but because
Informer needed... Mystique was coded on unexpanded
a1200, anyhow, but SPAWN is INFORMER'S first
contribution to the world of expanded machines.
Btw. although I'm owning acceleration board and
INFORMER did finished his productions, I am working
on unexpanded amy at the moment. You see, INFORMER
is working on sth brand new... Whack, whack, whack,
don't give a fuck! There's no time to talk
bullshit. The point is that I'm officialy back on
the scene. I bought a car, I'm about to buy a
modem, so my swapping activities're gonna be a
little cut down. I have to pass secondary school
leaving certificate in few months and that's another
reason to stop swapping in a way I used to do it one
year ago. Btw all polish swapping m8z, don't you
think the s-nail mailin' era's gone? Look, TPSA
(althought it's a fucking monopolist) gave us
oportunity to connect to the net for the minimum
prize (you can surf approx. one ohur insted of
sending two letters!). You gotta try to understand,
that net access won't be cheaper that it is now,
that the truth. Just think about it... A yeah I
would almost forget it. I got back into the music
buisiness. I guess I'll be rather concentrated on
writing THX tunes. IMHO t's the most interesting
music utility for Amiga ever written. Anyway,
official PSYCHOL WEB PAGE will be soon (as soon as I
send letter to BIONIC/TURNIPS whooz going to care
about wwwPSYCHOL). I was talking to SKIZO/SCUM, who
came with the idea, that we could make the pecee
version of PSYCHOL. I thought that it's really good
idea, but finally I decided to stay only by Amiga.
Anyway, try to spread this issue of my pack among
all your scene-friends and please kurwa support me
with good chip tunes. Stay tuned!

 GRAVITY '97 REVIEW ·
····················

Although Gravity'97 was held more than month ago
and lot of reports have been probably already
published, I'd like to share with you my opinion
about that event. It's not even exactly report. I
just want to tell you about the things that were
really screwed up and about those, that are worth
saying good word.

So, the first thing that I really enjoyed, was that
there were no problems with entering the party place
early in the morning. The doors had been opened
since friday evening, just in time, because first
guests came then! I came about 4am and there had
already been ca. 60 people. The amount of
attenders was about 650-700 people (some of them
came for free using others id cards).

I didn't like that the competitions were delayed.
Generaly, on the first edition of Gravity, in 1996,
competitions' organization was much better than at
the GRAVITY 2. This year some things were simply
fucked up. For exaple X-ceed's (ex. Snoopy)
multichannel module was played in the 4channel
competition. It won, but then was disqualified...
Sure, organizers couldn't give the 1st prize in 4ch
compo to 8ch module, but they could have apologized
X-ceed and all the attenders at least.

Just like one year ago, there was no sleeping room
avaiable, but fortunately rave-party was shorter and
generaly music wasn't played so loud, so all the
tired freaks shouldn't have had problems with
sleeping.

There was only one gastronomic point. But the only
sensible way to eat something EATABLE, was 30min.
trip to railway station with it's bistro that
provided quiet good meal for good price. When I
came to the party bar first time I meet there
SIXTUS/MYSTIC. He said the food was the worst he
had ever eaten, but I had to try it by myself.
SIXTUS was damn right! The food that you could buy
on the party place was simply awful, and rather
expensive (when comparing it to one served at the
rail station). Ok, when you're really hungry you
eat what you have including shits like those
described, so I thought I'll have a meal at the
party place when it's late. I was damn bitter when
I came to the bar together with BLAZE/NAH+FLOPPY
just few minutes before the midnight only to hear
that there's nothing to eat except some stupid
chocolate cakes... All the hot-meals had been
already out...

I didn't like the selection. Next thing that was
surely fucked up. Some pictures were simply lost
somewhere in the room of organizers and nobody even
dare to select/disqualify them... . To tell you
the truth, you must have had a buddy in a selection
room if you wanted to have your module selected.
It's really embarassing that really good modules
didn't pass selection just because some
selection-freak doesn't like its author in a
personal way.

Prizes were extremely low, but it seems to be the
same on all the polish parties... So what? Hmm,
all the prize for our winning 64kb intro disappeared
because of Adamsoft car's horrible gas-apetite :)

 CODE ·

Pack was coded by INFORMER/APPENDIX. Also env
mapped object routine was written by yellow (co nie
ZIG?) guy. Chunky2plannar and texturing routines
were written by SCOUT/APPENDIX+ARTWORK+C-LOUS. Some
bugs? Report it...

 GRAPHIC ·

All the graphic was drawn by PICK POKE/SCUM+FLOPPY.
All of the reported readers of issue #9 liked it, I
hope it's not gonna change this time.

·········
 PACKING ·
·········

That's my fucking job. It ain't no easy...
S-nail spreaded mostly BLAZE/NAH+FLOPPY, who is the
only official spread at the moment.

·······
 MUSIC ·
·······

Some short informations (like a composer,
supporter, format and length in bytes) about each of
packed tunes can be found here.

C64 CLONE - tracked by REVISQ, suported by the
author, protracker module, 63338 bytes. interesting
sound, huh? I guess b'cuz of those samples sampled
directly from commodore...

CZLOWIEK WIERTARKA - composed & supported by
REVISQ, protracker module, 50578 bytes. Groovy one!

DLA MISTERA UHU - composed by SIXTUS, supported by
BLAZE, protracker module, 28388 bytes. Typical
SIXTUS's sound, goooood!

HARLEQUIN - composed by MTC, supported by BOOBBA,
THX module, 16997 bytes. This one was supposed to
be used in SPAWN/APPENDIX (there's even the beta
release feat. this module), but we canceled the
idea as far as we had some problems with THX
replaying routine.

INTRO SPEED - composed & supported by REVISQ,
protracker module, 33068 bytes. You have probably
already heard it in one of SPEED-PACK's/NAH-KOLOR.

IT - composed by X-CEED, supported by BLAZE,
protracker module, 29986 bytes. Written especially
to NORBY's IT-PACK, I guess long, long time ago...

GANYMED TAKEOVER - composed by PINK, supported by
SUPERFML, THX module, 6987 bytes. PINK's chips
sound spimply the best...

SPAWN - composed & supported by SUPERFML,
protracker module, 7506 bytes. One, which was
supposed to be used in our SYMPOSIUM'97 intro, that
has never been released :(

NEVERMIND #71 - composed by MTC, supported by
BOOBBA (yo MTC! don't you think that's a pity that
we lost contact? you told me you leave the scene
for good but BOOBBA says you're still active; i'll
recontact you soon!), protracker module, 40810
bytes. Interesting, don't you think?

NEVERMIND #72 - composed by MTC, supported by
BOOBBA, protracker module, 40860. Slow motion :)

QQRYQ #14 - composed & supported by BOOBBA,
protracker module, 21930 bytes. Jammin'...

QUARK - composed & supported by REVISQ, protracker
module, 15982 bytes. Seen QUARK/ANADUNE?

RUMBURAK #02 - composed & supported by REVISQ,
protracke module, 25230 bytes. Every RUMBURAK tells
a story :))

 RUMBURAK #03 - composed & supported, protracker
module, 22594 bytes. This one too :)))

BAD TEMPER - composed by AQUAFRESH, supported by
BLAZE, protracker module, 16664 bytes. Generally, I
lobve this kind o'music.

SHE'S LEFT - composed by BARTMAN (R.I.P), supported
by BLAZE, THX module, 1584 bytes. Probably the last
module written by BARTMAN, polish musician who died
about half a year ago. He was a fucking good
buddy...

SYNTHETIC DICK - composed & supported by BARTESEK,
protracke module, 59506 bytes. Module consisting of
several different songs. As you probably may have
realized it's a first module from SYNTHETIC DICK
serie. #02 (one written especially to this pack)
was published in PSYCHOL about a year ago.

SYNTHMANIA #05 - composed by X-CEED, supported by
BLAZE, protracker module, 15332 bytes. I dunno why,
but it seems to me, that it sounds like a PIC SAINT
LOUP's tune.

SYNTHMANIA #11 - composed by X-CEED, supported by
BLAZE, protracker module, 24192 bytes. Startup
module, no comment.

TRAINER - composed by GRIM, supported by BLAZE,
protracker module, 14982 bytes. I'm sick of writing
comments :)
