This disk contains a collection of music, taken from the Public Domain
circuit. We have tried our utmost, to give credits to the tunes used.
However, if YOU wrote a piece of music on this disk, and we have not given you a
credit; contact us, and we shall certainly give you a credit and mention,
in the next Amirage release! To exit this intro, press the LEFT
mouse button; the RIGHT mouse button is used to pause this scroller!
The music accompanying this intro, is by TRISTAR, and written
using Future Composer! All music in the main part was created with Noisetracker.
So, why produce this disk? Many of today's music disks appear to be a combination of using
an IFF viewer to display a background image, and Noiseplayer to play the
tunes from the CLI; all very nice, but where is the Kaktus & Mahoney style?
Another common trait of today's music disks, are over used rave samples.
Ok, so I loved the original Technotronic remixed samples when they appeared
in 1989-1990, but the word BORING comes to mind when I hear a
hardcore dance beat repeated every 2.5 seconds on my Amiga!!!
I hope that the small collection that we have included on this disk, is
to your satisfaction. We would like to create a bigger, and better 2nd Amirage
Music Disk, however, we do need music-contributions, ie. musicians to help/join us,
so if you feel like we do, and wish to see more in the way of real music, and less
of sample overkill, then why not get in touch - we don't BYTE!!!
