Prelude:
Yes, it is once again time for Compusphere!
The summer vacation has passed and with it alot of the crew from last year. We,
the new crew, hope to make Compusphere as good or even better than the previous
ones!!
The big news is that Compusphere will only be held once every year (sob) which
we at the crew think is a big improvement since it makes it easier for us to
organise and keep our spirits up. The other big news is that this Compusphere,
which will be called Compusphere `97 TBr, will be held at Agnebergshallen which
is nearly twice as big as the previous location.
So, computer nerds, unite! And let's make this years CS the biggest and best ever!!!
!!The Press and Tv will be present to make interviews and take pictures.!!

The Party Location:
Where?
The party will be held at "Angebergshallen" In Uddevalla (Bohusln) , Sweden.
Signs will be put up close by so you can find it, and if you choose come by train
there will of course be a van picking you and your stuff upp to the party location.

When?
The party will start at 19:00 28th November (Friday) and close 12:00 30th
November (Sunday).
We will NOT let anybody in before 19:00. We need the time to sett up the network
and tables.
So there is no reason to come earlier.
The power will NOT be provided before 20:00.

Facilities:
The size of the sportcentre will be at least twice the size of the usual place.
(The exact size will be put out on our homepage later on.)
Wich means that there will be enough place for tables, chairs and sockets for
all of us and ofcourse our computers. (The estimated ammount of people that will
be able to fit in the area is about 700 p and more)
A good and powerful sound unit, 2 big screen's one for info and the other for
showing movies and demo etc...
The sportscentre has several rooms with WC and showers.
A quiet room's will be set up for sleeping. Dont forget your bodybags or
sleeping bags ;).

Entry Fee:
The entry fee will be 150 SEK if you bring a computer, want to vote or attend
any competitions, and 20 SEK for other visitors.
!!For girls, the entry is free even if they bring a computer...!!
(And, NO, you can NOT let a girl walk in with all your computers! We will be
checking this!)
It will be possible to pay in advance this time, to be garanteed a seat.
The fee for advance payment is 120 SEK and will start in 1-2 months...

The compos will be:
Amiga demo:
Will be run on a 68060 with Cybervision3D ïn 32MB RAM...
(Must be able to run on 68030-AGA with 6MB RAM.)
The demo must be delivered on no more than 5 000 kb, and must be packed with LHA
or LZX. The demo must exit if either LMB, RMB or ESC is pressed. The maximum time
length of the demo is 7 minutes. If you can't deliver the demo on disk, speak to
us and we will find a solution.
PC demo:
No sure info yet... Probably K6 200Mhz with Matrox Mystiqe ïn 32MB RAM and
Soundblaster or GUS.

All contributions will be played with Fasttracker (Amiga) or with CubicPlayer
(PC).
Multichannel music:
1.44MB (unpacked) and a maximum length of 5 minutes.

Pixel compo:
1.44MB (unpacked)
Scans, raytraces and discriminating pictures are not allowed!
Maximum resolution 800*600, 24-bit.

Wild compo
If needed, bring your own hardware. We will provide VHS videoïs you can use
the compo computers. Even better if you already have it recorded on VHS.
Lame Compo:
There will also be a Quake-compo for all you gamers.

All quakers or gamers will be placed in a special corner in the sportcentre.
This is for the convinience of the more serious groups and for the separate
quake-network.
Surprise Compo:
There will ofcourse be as much surprise compos as possible!
Extra compo info:
Due to some of the contributions of former Compusphere parties, the crew will
take the liberty of sifting through the contributions and put the VERY unserious
ones in a compo for themselves.
The reason for this is to encourage people to compete with a little more serious
demos. Something wich has been sourly lacking before...
(And when a demo with some work behind it HAS competed, people has voted on a
demo with a single lousy drawn still picture and a lousy mod...)
Therefore we beg you to put your demo in the RIGHT compo at once...
(Well... Ok, if thereïs very few contributions, maybe weïll let them compete
together...)
We can not promise how much money we will give out in the compos...
But remember: that if it comes many people the prises will be higer.
If it comes 300 fully paing persons we can promise 2000 skr
or more in firstprise in the Amiga and PC demo compo
Common Rules:
All contributions must be delivered to the info desk before deadline!
For demo and intro contributions, at least one person of the group must be
present. Late entries may be negotiated with the organizers.
Voting Rules:
The voting will be done by networked computers, which will be placed at convenient
places throughout the hall. You will choose a voting password when you log yourself
in at the entrance.
It is STRICTLY forbidden to use another person's voting login/password!! If
anyone trys to attempt this He / She will not be able to vote and all their entrys
will be disqualified.
If anyone gives his login/password to someone else has used upp his/her right to
vote.
Remember! We will be watching you!
