a few words from TANGo just to set the mood before you embark
on a rather strange little journey ...
this is not my usual respects style collection. this is
dedicated to the guys who have inspired me to carry on drawing
ascii in the hope that one day i will come close to being as
good. this is not an ass licking collection with a million
artists whose styles i honestly do like - this is a small
handful of people who i always look forward to seeing a release
from ...
if you're not in here, it doesn't mean i think your style sucks,
because it doesn't. i could release a collection with a tribute
to all the artists i respect because there are so many. i have
a great many friends (or as close to friend as you can get
without ever having met someone :) in the ascii business, but
these are the people who, with their work, make me strive to
improve every time i load up cygnus ed, and who knows? one day
i might be half as good as one of them.
if anyone is interested i've actually put a little work into these
logos - it is all my own style, i haven't ripped but i have tried
to use a little imagination for once ... surprising eh?
