::MUSIC::

All music converted by Wolfhound.  All songs were made on the Amiga in Rotten
Tracker, Noise Tracker or Pro Tracker.  Many Wolfhound songs were comprised of
two four-channel mods.  Samples were chopped down in size. 

Noise generation has been used to replace any sample which could be
replicated using noise generaton, and in the case of Everything (by Parry), a sample
was replaced and the noise generation is not even close to the original sample.

In some of the mods the sample data was completely corrupt but the sequence
data was okay.  Attempts to use the orginally intended instruments were often
successful. In a few cases some of the samples may differ.

data is from November 26th & November 25th 1996.

::MENU::

Note: In the ROM BBS Menu I used Base instead of Messages and UDBase instead of
files for text-alignment purposes (Also the lack of space in UserList for the
same reason).

::USERDATA::

The two dupes in the userlist are intentional. The first one of each dupe is a
deleted account distinct from the subsequent account with the same name.

::USERLIST::

In the userlist we're using whatever the most recent handle EXCEPT when we
have 0 posts or any other data associated with the most recent handle.

In these cases the most recent handle will be listed as an AKA in notes.
AKA is also used when we don't have the dates for the handle change or if
there were different handles used on the private board vs. the public board.

::MESSAGE BASE::

Based on recent info we believe the poems by Sarah are written by Sarah of Tazewell's Favorite Eccentric.

We've not recreated all of the original message base subboards, due to how few
posts were recovered it made sense to combine some of them.

Posts from users who have since changed their handle maintain the original
handle at the time of the post.

Many posts and responses missing. Where known responses are missing you'll see
'[MISSING DATA]'

ADDITIONAL NOTES

30 Dec 2025:
Text in posts, in the message base, which contain known material written by
others, be it a quote, a joke, or whatever, is in cyan text.

I couldn't find the Ronald Reagan joke but it seems like something which would
have existed before it was posted here.  For now I've left it in the regular
text colour.

23 Jan 2026:
For the userlist I'm using the most recently used handle with the exception
of Knight and Peace as we were unable to recover any posts from them under
their most recent handles.

For the posts the handles used are what was present on the day of the post.

Board was reset (known dates) 3 Feb 92, Jul 93, some time in 95?

Q: Will you start running the board again?

A: No. It's was of a specific time and place and many of the people who made it what it was are gone.



Q: Do you have old versions of C-Net and can I get a copy?

A: Yes: 2.0, 2.38, 2.42, 3.04.



Q: When are the songs from?

A: It varies. Most of them were pulled from backups and when they were copied the CLONE option wasn't used so all we have are the dates of each backup.

   I know generally when most of the songs are from but not exact dates. All songs included here are from 1991 - March of 1994.
