Throughout the history of football games, one title has carried the
flag out in front, that title is Madden. Madden has arguably single
handedly made the football game genre as successful as it is today.
Minus a short disappearance in '96, the Madden series has been with
gamers for over 13 years now. Combine that length of time with the
quality of the title year after year and it's not hard to see why so
many gamers are loyal to their chubby ex-coach with quick-witted
"Maddenisms" year after year.
Madden has been the king for almost 13 years now and if this year's
slew of new features and additions to the gameplay are any indicator,
it's reign is destined to last at least another year. First and foremost,
the single biggest addition to the series in a long time is going to hit
home this fall, Online play. For the first time on a console, Madden
ballers will be able to go "mano e mano" over the Internet using a
dial up or broadband connection. EA has been kind enough to throw in user
stat tracking of win's & losses, disconnect %, matchmaking lobbies,
and gamers will also be able to download current player rosters to keep
up with player injuries and trades in the NFL to keep their game rosters
up to date. Online play or not, EA has beefed up considerably the offline
aspect of Madden having also added a play editor where you can create
any play you can think of, the ability to create custom playbooks pulling
plays from any of your favorite team playbooks, a "Mini-Camp" mode where
you can practice your skills in every area of the gameplay from Defensive
backs to QB throwing drills, new gameplay additions like gang tackles,
sidearm passes, tons of new animations, and reworked collision detection.
Whew! That's a lot of stuff. Well we're not done, EA has also beefed up
the Franchise mode of Madden by adding in Scouting reports on upcoming
rookies to evaluate them, then when you draft them you get to improve
them by going through a 4 game preseason schedule. Do you leave the
starters in longer than a quarter for some reps, or do you yank em and
put the 3rd string in? Better watch out for those injuries.

* Online Gaming - Features an on-line lobby area where gamers can meet,
greet, chat and play Madden head to head, as well as download current
player rosters throughout the real NFL season (roster update includes
trades, position changes, and injuries).
* Mini-camp - Features John Madden's Cruiser Tour Bus traveling to all NFL
cities to complete skilled tasks. Take control of players in practice
gear and become an expert in all player positions in your ultimate goal
to earn unique Madden cards.
* Audio Dream Team - The Monday Night Football team of John Madden and Al
Michaels handles commentary, with dynamic play-by-play and more analysis
than ever before. New audio engine delivers appropriate commentary based
on current game situation and player/team statistics. Greater use of
on-field player sounds, including player banter, offensive and defensive
audible calls, crushing hits and improved crowd reaction sounds.
* Improved Graphics and Presentation - New signature player animations like
sidearm QBs, gang-tackling, stand-still receiver catches; new cut scenes
with high-poly cheerleaders and additional emotion-based bench scenes;
more than 300 realistic player faces; cinematic approach to camera positions
gives new, more natural feel.
* New Game play Mechanics - Faster game speed; players follow through, making
hits on people without the ball; tighter control with quicker animations
and reduced player momentum; more finely tuned passing game; independent
audibles for defensive line, linebackers, and defensive backs.
* Create-A-Playbook - Customize receiver routes, player formations, and your
team's entire playbook. Create virtually any play imaginable and play it
on the field immediately.
* Franchise Mode Enhancements - Just as you can in the real NFL, you'll
evaluate and progress rookies, free agents and created players during a
four- game pre-season; Export a franchise team to exhibition play; Rookie
Scouting Reports serve as a new way to evaluate rookies.
* Ask Madden - Legendary coach John Madden provides strategy and advice during
both offensive and defensive play calling.
* EA SPORTS Unlocks - NCAA Football 2003 consumers will be able to unlock
special Madden Cards within Madden NFL 2003.

All bonus movies are ripped, because they don't have anything to do with the
real gameplay. Secondly we ripped the front speech (that means no talking
from the commentators about the players etc), you still have commentary
in the background from the game... (but thats tiny) Still all SFX are in the game.
Lastly we had to rip 1 game mode - Football 101 (don't worry about that mode
because it's some sort of training) it had to go SO DON'T SELECT IT
from the main menu !

Before you go playing the game go to main menu and follow this, go to :
SETTINGS/SYSTEM/AUDIO there you will see COMMENTARY ON select OFF and your done.
You can save the settings to a memcard so that you dont need to do it other times

Not much, yeh almost forgot we patched this release with the nice intro,
with chipy sound.... (an sorry for being late, if you don't like it don't get it!)
