we know by disaster area 2001

software decelerated epileptic nausea in its final form.
may it rest in peace.

i got a new compiler, so i made a replacement executable. you need the old data files.
stick this exe in the same directory as the old exe, and run it if you like.

this version should run under win9x/me and win2k.
this version uses direct draw at 512 by 384 in 32bits.
this version isn't leaky.
this version doesn't crash.
this version doesn't require a 1ghz processor.
this version deliberately left out nifty code that made some effects go
at 1/8th of the speed that they should have.

yes. we know.

but what we don't know is how fast your machine has to be. I'm guessing 600mhz
would be the minimum.

the slowest machine we've got to test the whole demo on is a 700mhz athlon, and
it ran perfectly.

and now...
