Ayn Demo Group (Ayn means Eye in semetic languages)
Release Date: July 17, 2008
Done it in the weekend, (as a refresh), so
don't expect much!
This is a remake of the very old Tim Clark's Mars Demo.
The old one was 5.5k, this one makes it in less that 2k..
However it has its limitations: Crappy colors and lousy
landscapes. I kept some error checking, code would be
reduced even more if you remove all (FAILED) stuff.
*Compiled it using crinkler*
It uses shader version 3.0 (pixel and vertex)
and a lot of vertex texture fetching (ATI cards support
is not the best for this kind of operation, but you
will never know.). A word about NVIDIA cards,
currently nvidia support for linux nowadays sux,
their drivers sucks! But this is a demo for windows.
Source Code is given under GPL3
Have fun coding and optimizing
