Super Ispman by Qasir, 2002
This document best viewed in MS Dos EDIT

Requirements:
Pentium 200 or equivilant (it will run on lower, but to get a decent frame
rate you may have to disable music)
Vga compatible video card

Optional: A Soundblaster compatible sound card for music

Effects, in order:
Crappy intro screen ;)
Gouraud torus with floor and ceiling mapping
Environment mapped torus
Weird light thingys :)
3d Plasma Cube
Realtime raytraced giant sphere
Bouncing 3d textured skull with shadowing and rotozoomer to simulate a floor
Crappy outro screen (the skull symbolises the end of the demo ;)
Ah, who am I kidding...the skull is only on the outro screen because I
couldnt be bothered to load another 3d model, hehe.

This demo contains several things that have not been done in a pure
qb demo yet, including a real MOD music player :)

You can change the mixing rate of the music with the -F command line
parameter, followed by either 11, 16, or 22 for 11025hz, 16000hz or 22050hz
respectively. Example: -F16
The default mix rate is 11025 hz, and it is not recommended to change this
unless you have a decent machine above about 400mhz or so.

You can turn music off entirely with the -nosound parameter. I believe to
hear music in some new windows operating systems such as win2k, you need
to load an emulator for dos sound. I am not sure how to do this, look it
up in help or something :)

For best performance run this demo in pure dos mode (not in a window).

Welp, although I am pretty happy with the effects this demo has, I am a
little dissapointed that I ran out of time to polish it up and really
make it the best ever qb demo. I didnt even get time to do any nice
transitions between effects. Perhaps if I can be bothered I may finish it
up and release an updated version at a later date.

Also, I am going to do a recode of my mod player and release it, so watch
out for that some time soon :)

Thanks to gryzor for the mod that is used in this demo.

Greets to all of codahz, all my friends on irc, and all the other qb demo
coders out there.

Until next time,
-Qasir
