What is scourge?
Scourge is Simon Finne's contribution to the PowerMacintosh 64k demo competition organized by Stone Entertainment.
Important note:
Because of my lack of time and since I only have an old 75MHz Performa 5200, this demo does not have any really cool effects. If you want to see something else coded by me, showing more nice effects, please look at my homepage sometime after the Assembly '99 demoparty.
Disclaimer:
As with (almost) any computer software, the author (Simon Finne in this case) cannot be held responsible for any damage it causes, but as this only is a graphical demo which is not touching any drive, or anything like that; it's only showing some mathematics mapped on the computer screen it should not be able to cause any trouble.
Bugs:
I know there's quite a lot of problems with the rendering, but I don't consider that as a bug :) But I would be glad if people write to me and say whether the demo runs on their machine at all. The Performa 5200 has it's own funny ways of doing things (like rowbytes is always the width of the screen times the colorsize) so I cannot be 100% sure that the demo runs on other machines.
