Flame Fest 1.3
A FLAME ALGORITHM DEMO

Metroworks C code included)
I wrote this program with the intention that I would use a simple real-time flame in my about screen for a game Im writting (trying to write). Well... as you can see... it turned out to be more than just a simple flame. I guess I got carried away.
Set your computer out on the porch at night and watch the moths swarm in your
direction.
Here is a brief description of each fire effect:
CAMP FIRE - Just your average BoyScout camp fire. Just hope it dosn't
rain.
BON FIRE - Just your average beer drinking party bon fire.... Looks like
someone spared their sofa for this one.
VOLCANO - Does this need a description?
FIRE FALL - A gentle water fall gone terribly wrong!
PEACE FIRE - A colorfull bon fire from the 70's.
HELL! - I couldn't think of a better name to describe this one.
GREY FLAME - A bon fire filmed in the late 1940's for an Alfered Hitchcock movie.
BUGS:
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Besides the occasional moth getting in your hair... this program might CRASH on you despite the fact that this is a Very small and simple program. I have not yet worked out all the bugs... partly due to the plain fact that Im not the greatest Mac programer.
If you consider yourslef a good Mac programer... I wouldn't mind some insight into making programs that don't crash.
NOTES:
Flame Fest works well in both 256 and Tousands of colors. I havn't tested it on anything else. Theoreticly, it should work best in 256 colors.
COPYRIGHT INFORMATION:
(Morality Speach... you have been warned!)
This is not my algorithm. So I hold no rights to it... and neither should YOU. But, this is my code, and I have not copyrighted it and dont plan to. In other words this is uncopyrighted Freeware. So, if you want to use my code in a program and make billions and billions of dollars, I would at the very least like to know. (lazy bum)
WHERE TO CONTACT ME:
Ok... enough with morals. If you have any questions, answers, ideas, suggestions, used cars you dont need any more and you want to give away for free...

(Allright... forget the used cars. It would be hard to transport them over phone a
line anyway.)
POSTING THIS STUFF ELSEWHERE:
I think you all know the procedure... If you are going to post this stuff somewhere
else, please keep this ReadMe file and all of the other files together. What could be simpler?
THE END!
Welcome to the end of another boring, yet informative, ReadMe file.
Im sure you're just as happy as I am.
Who invented these things anyway?
