"Discorilla"
An entry for the Evoke 2013 pixel/16-colour palette limited gfx compo
This more or less started out as a picture of a forest - I scrapped that :)
The animation was an afterthought, but as it turned out, it was actually
more fun to do than the image itself… most of the stuff in the background
was made by layering dithering patterns (of various types), some animated,
some not. Pretty basic stuff, really, but it's been a LONG time since I've
done anything like this.
Great party atmosphere! This is my first time at Evoke, thanks to Susan
and Dino for making me and nic0 promise to go =)
