Coma as the keymaster delivering Wise Words with a Blue Sound from the boundary between life and imagination.. my A1200 temporarily moved to the middle of nowhere, Ertebjerg, and I (being a true diciple) followed it. Summer holidays are here, and behold, the sun shines upon our humble heads. Bigmama is washing a bunch of dirty windows in the house; for some reason they do not disappear when clicked on in their upper left corners - another flaw of ancient technology, I suppose.. Just got a bunch of new stuff the other day.. filled up fucking one third of my precious hard disk space. KickOff III (Goal) was a big disappointment, KickOff II still rules supreme!! A bunch of demos.. a few games.. mostly shit.. Bigmama and I did laugh a lot about the Polish modifications to English grammathical rules. How sad to watch a noble language like this being degraded to that level. Oh by the way, I did most graphics for this production. Of course drawn from scratch; Real Men Don't Copy! Graphics, that is. What more to write?? ...I feel like a floating piece of jelly, trapped in a rotating vectorbox... ??? Watch out for the Ostro(TM), soon coming from Trash, and now let me explain the background of the famed quote: "I Think .. and Therefore I Am!". In 18th century Europe a lot of new philosophies and sciences swept across Europe, inspired by old greek thinkers. The power of the catholic church was on the decrease, as new thoughts became accepted. Comte's "Positivism" stated, that only what could be proved, or what could be based of known discoveries, could be accepted as facts. On these ideas, modern science is based. However, these new scientists only had the old philosophies, a new one was needed to suit the new world. Rene Descartes, a talented french mathematician, was the one to use the positivism in the field of philosophy. He stated, that what was told to you by other people could not be proven, and therefore could not be facts. Also, what you see and what you hear may also merely be illusions, and even though they are likely to be true, there still exists a doubt, that keep what you sense from being facts. In this fashion, he eliminated everything - except for one thing, of which he could be certain: his own scepticism! His own thinking was a fact, as thus was his existence. This, he summed up in the sentence: "I THINK AND THEREFORE I AM". This places him as one of the greatest philosophers of all times. Well... I think I must be going now, hope I enlightened your mind a little! This is Coma out of words... (C) 1993... wrap! Ever get tired of ordinary computermusic? Well...... it sure can be cool but it also can be boring in the long run - Right? Do you ever wonder what makes people so insane.... so suicidal.... so fucked up that they listen to techno???? Personally I think that techno SUCKS!!!! Now when I have said that it might be a good time to introduce myself.... I am........ of course........ (gettin' curious????)........ JNI - I am the goddamn musician and THAT's why I think that techno ain't worth a pink nickle. Now the answer to the unasked question: What is worthy music? has got to be: You are listening to it! Now all you techno-lame-brains out there gettin' mad at me right now.... don't take this personally. I admit that we live in a time where technology is advancing quickly but I don't think that music is to be so techno-like as it has become with the introduction of techno music. That's why I stick to heavy metal and Subpop (and ordinary computermusic) because that's music made of real musicians who can really play an instrument. (Goddamn what a speech!).... After this it is time for my personal greetz, hellos and remarks to people I know. First of all - since I am fairly new in the business I would like to thank the guys of Trash for lettin' me in on the team and for understanding my kind of art and thanx for lettin' me have a musicdisk (of my own?!?!?!). A special greeting must go to Jammer (you goddamn kaffer!) for letting me wreck your sampler - and then get yourself an Amiga again. Since I don't know anybody else personally there will be no further personal greetz!?!? Now I would like to tell ya something about the modules on this hard'n'heavy musicdisk. The module "Smells Like Trash" is an updated version of my oldest module. It is like the modules "Subjam", "Get Dizzy" and partially "Manic-depressive" Nirvana inspired. Nirvana really is great! The 3 modules I just mentioned are my newest modules and as you might have noticed they have a rather unique guitar sound. It's my own and I'm fuckin' proud! The module "Axel & JNI" I always wanted to do in this way - just to wreck it - coz it's the worst module I have ever heard on the Amiga (and on the old C64). In fact the module "Something in JNI" is also Nirvana inspired although it doesn't seem that way - (try listening to "Something in the way" on the Nirvana CD "Nevermind"). "Ridin'" is more like D.A.D. style - kinda like back to the roots attitude if ya know what I mean. "Seek & Destroy" is of course Metallica and I think it speaks for itself. (Did you know that Metallica invented their own kind of metal called: Speed metal??? and that Dave Mustaine/Megadeth was the original guitarist of Metallica???). Last there is "Funky Passion" which is inspired from shitty weather. (You see what a man can do to keep his spirit high on a fucked up day!). Last thing to say is: Contact JNI of Trash for musical purposes at the following address: JNI of Trash, Jan Nielsen, Hasselvaenget 5 1th, 7100 Vejle, Denmark. Now if you are a lamer or a techno freak who wants to send threats cause you're still mad - then don't bother to contact me because you won't get a shitty bit of attention. Thanx for listening and reading this garbage and I hope to piss somebody off again sometime in the future!?!?.... JNI signin' off..... Text restarts... Hi folks! Bigmama is back and I am writing this while developing... You know it can be really hard figuring out how this has got to be designed to get a nice look! I hope you like this little thing coz I spent quite a bit of time on it?!?! Personally I like musicdisks a lot if they've got nice tunes and are bugfree... (I hope this production is nearly 100% bugfree!?) I hate it when you are sitting and waiting for a module to be loaded and decrunched and the machine is nearly ready to replay and then everything either stops totally or the scrolly, mouse-control and current tune keeps on working while everything else is locked up!!! I also have some personal messages to miscellaneous people..... JNI and Coma: it was interesting doing this project with you even though JNI is kinda far away from where Coma and I live. - Wozzy: Thanx for the overall support!!! Hope "Metal Connextion" will run soon! - The Violator: Go get that A1200 and start coding a bit again! I really love your small intros... - Spacebrain/Upfront: Did Deature make you that musicdisk afterall or what??? Contact me soon on "Metal Connextion" which will soon be up again (I hope!) - Deature/Upfront: Coded some cool routines lately??? Talk to you and Spacebrain soon! - Judas/The Foundation: Congratulations with the A1200!!! Did you create some cool os-applications lately? Btw. why not start coding something at a hardware-level?!?! You've got all you need now! Have fun and keep the spirit high till we meet again someplace (in the surroundings of some Amiga(s)). - Wildman/The Foundation: The Ostro is soon coming to you my friend. And it has got that "little rousso touch" you know!? Are you enjoying the A4000??? What comes next? A5000? Call me sometime when not in lack of time (or money!!) - Heat/Tarkus Team: I'm sorry about the trainer! I don't know if I'll ever finish it but I hope to. Chat with ya soon! - Jones/Static Bytes: It was nice talkin' to you that evening in June... This runs under my small operating-system as you might have noticed! You surely noticed that I made that vector-check bypass as we talked about (LMB!) Inspiration has come to a low level ... Sorry! By the Road: This musicdisk has got no hidden module so don't bother searching for it!!!!!! Important note to PD-Companies and the like... This musicdisk is (C) copyrighted by Trash DK and must not be sold or distributed in any commercial form without our knowledge and permission. On the other hand this product may be distributed freely around all kinds of BBS' and by mail if no fee is charged. Don't use any excuse about copying-expenses to sell this legally without contacting us first. To get in touch with us, contact me (Bigmama) at our Danish HQ "Metal Connextion" and leave me a message... Signed JNI, Coma and Bigmama of Trash DK. Welcome to this musicdisk from Trash called "Smells Like Trash" which contains 9 more or less rocky tunes. This has been under development for about two months so check the different scrolls and stuff out!!! We tried to make this musicdisk interesting without having to spend too much time on it because we have a couple of other releases planned within the next two months. Anyway, we hope you'll enjoy the tunes even if you're not the biggest rock-fan of the World (maybe a techno-listener?) There isn't much more of interest in this scrolly so press the right mouse-button to go to the misc menu and choose something else.... This one will go around now...
