Sorry Silents/Crionics for using your nice Glenz vector introduction effect. It was too much of a temptation! How did we push the speed of a standard Glenz-vector routine beyond the normal call of duty? It was quite simple really....... I wrote a 68020 emulator which causes the 68000 of the standard Amiga to think that it is in fact a 68020!!! Because the 68020 has a more optimised pipelined architecture it can operate at over twice the speed of the 68000 at the same clock-cycle rate, thus giving us the extra speed to do 96 faces... "Sure," you say. "But what about the overhead of the emulator itself?!" Correct! We can't get full 68020 speed because of the overhead but we get enough speed for our purposes!!! Well as we have made a few 96 face Glenz objects for your perusal we'll take this opportunity to get those boring but oh necessary group messages out of the way! To clear up a nasty rumour around... Some lamers have been spreading a rumour that we rip our code and graphics. Well as you can see we can hardly rip a world record! Obviously a lot of ideas in this demo as in most demos are taken from others, but ALL code and ALL graphics in this demo, except for the music-player and flashing logo graphics, were done by us!!!
